Step 1: Hit the gym.

Exercise releases the feel-good hormones called endorphins, which can turn a bad day around in no time.

Eating fish can also release endorphins and elevate your mood, thanks to Omega-3 fatty acids.

Step 2: Watch your favorite movie or listen to your favorite music.

Step 3: Complete a household, outdoor, or personal project to feel a sense of accomplishment.

Step 4: Avoid thinking about all the bad stuff that happened in the past.

Concentrate on the good things, and on the present.

Step 5: Talk to a family member, friend, or even a professional, and tell them what's bothering you.

Step 6: Go to bed a little earlier than usual.

The sooner a bad day ends, the sooner a new day can begin.
